What a sad news!
Elsa Peretti, the famous Italian jewelry designer, who linked her name to Tiffany, died at the age of 80.
Peretti died in Spain, in Sant Marti Vell, Catalonia, a Spanish village entirely restored by her and where she lived with her lovely dogs.
She graduated in Interior design, she arrived in Tiffany as a designer in 1974 after a career as a model, not only for the world of fashion - a famous shot by Helmut Newton - but also for artists such as Salvador Dalì.
Her creations are exhibited in major museums around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the British Museum in London.
RIP, great and beautiful!
