Bonjour fashion lovers!
Emily in Paris is an explosion of outifts, trends and brands, but there is in character who shines more than anyone else in impeccable style, charm and innate elegance.
Who am I talking about? But about French boss Silvie (played by @philippineleroybeaulieu) who shows us how one can be feminine, chic and beautiful even without resorting to extreme artifices!
In the first season of Emily in Paris, Sylvie shows an extremely elegant wardrobe but reduced to a rather basic color palette. in fact, she always wears the chic French colors: black, olive green, and blue.
She wears swathing dresses and chooses black like a true Parisian, going all out for important accessories: remember her corset belt and gold jewelry?
Impossible to forget her black bikini (so glam!) and her relationship with a boy much younger than her.
As time went on and she became her own entrepreneur (opening a new agency of her own) her style also became colorful, remaining always elegant and seductive.
Philippine/Silvie shows us that true true style and beauty are not related to age!
Marylin Fitoussi, the costume designer, made an incredible job!

Bonjour fashion lovers! Happy and stylish new year to us!
Ready to start a new year of fashion, style, elegance, glam and vintage?
I am not ready, but more!
Let's start with the second part dedicated to Emily in Paris - season 3.
The coat is a must-have piece during the cold season and in Paris you absolutely must have it!
Emily knows this well and wears a cream and lilac wool coat from Lamina paired with yellow heeled shoes from GCDS and Celine yellow mini
Under her coat Emily wears an handmade knit sleeveless jacket and knit skirt with feather trim by Kevin Germanier.
A perfect trio of colors!
Here's where to buy them!
Enjoy shopping!
Costume designer: Marylin Fitoussi
Bonjour fashion lovers!
Today I finished watching Emily in Paris season 3 and I was quite bored. But we have to talk about style and trends. I didn't like all the outfits, some of the choices and pairings are excessive, impractical and not very believable. Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi has now taken all the reins of the TV series (Patricia Field co-designed the first season and stayed on as costume consultant in the second)
But let's talk about the first outfit that caught my eye. Emily (as Lily Colins) is wearing a printed and cut-out georgette mini-dress by Magda Butrym (sold out), a custom-made cape by costume designer Marylin Fitoussi, and a green platform by Casadei.
The cape is simply stunning!
Fitoussi couldn't find a cloak like what she imagined, so she custom-designed a feather-embellished cape and collaborated with Parisian brand Marcy to build it. To perfectly match the pink and red on Emily's midriff-baring Magda Butrym ensemble, artisans custom-dyed all the plumage, which were hand-sewn on.
Unfortunately, at the moment I have no news on where to find this cape, but in the meantime here is where to buy the dress and shoes.
Happy shopping
onjour! Ciao!
December 2021 promises to be the most stylish month ever and I am not exaggerating. Why? How why! Soon we will be able to enjoy the return to the screens of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte in the reboot of "Sex and the city", entitled "And just like that" (I want to enclose in a single article all the posts that I have shared on my IG in recent months. I'll do it this weekend) and Emily in Paris, second season.
I am very ready to admire the new outfits decided by the iconic stylist Patricia Field for the cast of Emily in Paris and to breathe my much loved Parisian atmosphere, even if the shooting did not stop only in Paris.
What will happen between Emily and Gabriel after their intense night of love?
In the meantime, let's enjoy its first official trailer and the photos of the set together.
Enjoy and keep following The Fashion Lover (beware of imitations)

Are you a fan of Emily in Paris?
Netflix has revealed the first look- photos from its second season and we can't wait to watch it. Although I hope that there are no commonplaces about Parisians that were in the first.
Ready?
I forgot, among my favorite Emily in Paris outfits, the yellow one. Do you know it? Look at the photo.
I love the asymmetrical print midi skirt and the silk mix top by ganni, the shoes with ankle strap by Elie Saab and the bag by Patricia Field.
Honestly, yellow is not one of my favorite colors, but this outfit hit me right away.
To you?

Yesterday I finished seeing Emily in Paris on Netflix.
My expectations were very high: same author and costume designer of Sex and City, the most beautiful city in the known world and lots and lots of fashion. Unfortunately, my expectations remained unfulfilled. What a pity. The story is not credible.
Social relationships are surreal. There are so many clichés that "Emily in Paris" is a set of comic memes. Emily becomes an influencer within a few minutes Emily conquers even the most unpleasant of interlocutors with two words, Emily have no problem making herself understood even though she doesn't speak a single word of French. Ahhhh, Haute Couture fashion designer Pierre Cadeau is just ridiculous. What do I like about it? Simple: the clothes, the Parisian views.
That's enough. I conclude my journey in "Emily in Paris" by talking about the last two outifts I loved. The first is a total fuchsia look: warm Kenzo coat, Chiara Ferragni miniskirt, Sandro sweater and Louboutin pumps.
A real colorful gift for gloomy winter days. The second outfit is a wonderful white dress of French haute couture.
The mini dress, one shoulder by Stephane Rollande (in the series it is by Pierre Cadeau).
Divine. Lily Collins seems a flower! Ahh ... I hope the second series is always stylish, but more real

Ciao! Bonjour!
I am continuing to watch “Emily in Paris” on Netlix. 2 more episodes and I'm done.
There are more and more ridiculous clichés about Parisians. Mah!
If there weren't gorgeous dresses and enchanting scenery, this movie series would be forgotten!
Today we talk about the wonderful dress worn by Emily Cooper during her visit to the "Death of the Swan" ballet at the Opéra national de Paris.
She wears a black off-the-shoulder gown by Christian Siriano with crystal-adorned heels, Agnelle gloves, vintage fur, and La Compagnie du Costume jewels.
I love it!
She is similar to Audrey Hepburn's bridal silhouette in her infamous Givenchy dress in Funny Face.
What do you think?

Ciao! Bonjour!
Finally yesterday I started watching Emily in Paris. I reserve to give a final judgment after having seen all the episodes. In the meantime I can say that I love Paris more than ever (I miss it so much).
Some outfits worn by Emily (Lily Collins) are adorable. One of them is what you see in the picture.
Lily Collins wears a Veronica Beard check double-breasted blazer and shorts, and Christian Louboutin Soval ankle strap pumps. The perfect stylish touch? Her red Parisian hat
Finally we have the date!
I mark my diary now!
I had already written about this new unmissable television series, but I didn't know anything concrete about its release: read here.
Now Netflix has dropped the first trailer where Lily Collins (alias Emily) lives in my Paris wearing one killer outfit after another.
We'll have a new Sex and City and the new The Devil wears Prada.
The 10-episode rom-com will debut on October 2 on Neflix
I'm so excited!
I can not wait to be in Paris with Emily.
