Bonjour fashion lovers!
It's been a long time since I've blogged here.
I focused a lot on social media, establishing a direct, sincere and beautiful relationship with my followers that are growing more and more, but now I decided to come back here, where it all began.
A lot has happened in these months, some good (my job is going great) and some not so good (I said goodbye to my father), but I'm glad to be back with you.
I left you with Cartier and we start again with the sensational YSL signature collection for Fall Winter 2022.
A collection signed by Anthony Vaccarello in which femininity and elegance are taken to the extreme of their power.
Every dress, every detail is a hymn to the charm of the woman. Black is the absolute dominant color (interrupted by a few white and brown dresses), the jewels are flashy and powerful, the shoes always have heels, the furs are fake and the famous YSL suit is always incredibly sexy!
My return here on the blog could not be more glamorous than this!
My Paris is living to the rhythm of the Paris Fashion Week shows: catwallks, events, interviews, photos...The city of the lights shines brighter than ever.
The Saint Laurent fashion show at the foot of the Eiffel Tower was expected not only for its collection inspired by the 40s, but also for the guests who were able to admire the collection of Anthony Vaccarello on the esplanade of the Trocadéro, where nebulized water made everything very magical (also dangerous for models and their very high heels)
Among the most beautiful celebrities, we find actress Catherine Deneuve with red blouse and black coat, Carla Bruni in total black with golden belt, Charlotte Gainsbourg in gray checked dress with riding boots and her son Ben Attal in black look and Ana Girardot who opted for a leather suit with a white shirt and boots.
Simply perfect in YSL.

Magnifique! Magnifique!
The real fashion icon is back in Saint Laurent!
Catherine Deneuve wears the classic Saint Laurent trench coat by Anthony Vaccarello by David Sims.
Do you remember her in "Belle de jour", directed by Luis Buñuel (1967)? The style in this movie has survived through generations. This movie marked the beginning of a unique partnership between Catherine Deneuve and Yves Saint Laurent.
In movie she is Séverine, an upper-middle-class wife who spends her afternoons as a prostitute in a luxurious Parisian brothel.
Bunuel did not want nudity, but on the contrary, wanted that the dresses must be sewn on the character.
Saint Laurent did it! His clothes are ultra-sophistication and surrealist.
Simply wonderful the black patent trench coat with wool sleeves and very thin belt that she wears with tortoiseshell rimmed sunglasses.
Now seeing Catherine Deneuve wearing the YSL trench coat again is simply amazing.
Bravo Anthony Vaccarello for this choice.
Today is the birthday of an undisputed fashion genius. Or rather, it would be his birthday, because (unfortunately) he is gone, but his creations, his intuitions and revolutions are strongly present.
Who am I talking about? Simple: Yves Saint Laurent
I remember him sharing the photos of my visit to his Museum in Paris.
What a thrill to see his designs, his clothes, enter the room where Yves created and imagine him sitting at his desk!
What a beautiful memories!
As soon as I return to my Paris, I will relive the same emotions.
Look at the pictures with me!
I apologize for the poor quality of my photos you find in this articl, but I was focused on the Yves Saint Laurent's soul!
After Giorgio Armani's letter, after Zegna who skips the month of September in Milan for a "phygital" show in July, the French fashion house Saint Laurent announced they will not be presenting new collections in any of the pre-set schedules for the remainder of 2020. The brand will set its own pace for showing collections as part of its post-pandemic strategy and will focus their efforts on more direct-to-consumer formats.
In an interview with wwd.com, the CEO Francesca Bellettini hinted that the brand could still organize a physical show throughout the year, but that at this moment it is preferring more intimate formats.
"There is no longer any reason to align with a calendar established years ago, when everything was completely different. I don't want to rush to present a collection just because there is a deadline. I want to go on stage when I'm ready. . Our decision not to be part of any calendar derives from the desire to focus on the importance of our time and our lives. Fashion shows, showrooms, orders: the whole system program is out of fashion now », said Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of Saint Laurent. He reassured about the central role that Paris will continue to play for the maison, whose shows have always been one of the main attractions of the fashion week. «The spirit and attitude of Saint Laurent is Parisian, and this will never change. We will continue to emphasize the role of Paris as a city and fashion capital. We did it and we will continue to do it, and not only with fashion shows ».
Are we witnessing a slow fashion revolution?

Ciao my fashion lovers! A spectacular setting for last night’s Saint Laurent show which saw models walking on water against a backdrop of palm trees and the Eiffel Tower. There was plenty of black (I love it). Shorts in black or gold leather, shorts in the fab form of sequined playsuits with exaggerated glam shoulders by Anthony Vaccarello.

Ciao fashion lovers!
